MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
Reno, NV
Position Overview​
TruckHouse builds aerospace-grade expedition trucks, and we’re looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to help scale our production from ultra-low volume to steady, repeatable flow. You’ll own process development, jigs/fixtures, quality controls, and help shape our MES workflows as we transition to digital manufacturing.

What You'll Do

Develop and improve manufacturing processes across composites, machining, paint, assembly, and integration

Design and build jigs, fixtures, and tooling that increase precision, safety, and repeatability

Create standard work, routings, and documentation for MES

Support quality checks, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement

Partner with Production, Design Engineering, and Supply Chain to keep builds flowing smoothly

What We're Looking For

SENIOR COMPOSITE TECHNICIAN

Position Overview​
TruckHouse is seeking a Senior Composite Technician who can lead advanced composite operations with the precision of an engineer and the instincts of a master craftsman. This isn't just about laying up parts – it's about owning the entire infusion process, mentoring the next generation of composite builders, and setting the standard for what world-class composite work looks like.
You'll lead resin infusion operations from mold prep to final cure, creating carbon fiber and fiberglass components that define the performance and aesthetics of vehicles built for the world's most demanding environments. This role requires someone who understands that perfect vacuum integrity, strategic resin flow, and flawless surface finish aren't optional – they're the baseline when expedition reliability is on the line.

What You'll Do

Lead complete resin infusion operations including mold prep, bagging strategy, vacuum setup, resin flow planning, and quality assurance

Mentor composite technicians on infusion fundamentals, tooling prep, trimming/finishing, and assembly techniques

Perform advanced trimming, drilling, edge finishing, and composite assembly on complex parts

Establish and enforce best practices for surface prep, laminate integrity, and composite workmanship

Drive continuous improvement through process documentation, root-cause analysis, and team coordination

COMPOSITE TECHNICIAN

Position Overview​
TruckHouse is seeking Composite Technicians who understand that working with advanced materials requires both technical precision and an artist's touch. Our composite components aren't just functional – they define the aesthetic and durability of vehicles that face brutal environments from Baja to the Arctic Circle.
You'll work with carbon fiber, fiberglass, and advanced composites to create body panels, aerodynamic elements, and structural components that are lightweight, strong, and beautiful. This role requires someone who sweats the details on layup schedules, cure times, and surface finish – because good enough isn't good enough when someone's expedition depends on it.

What You'll Do

Lay up composite parts using hand layup, vacuum bagging, and resin infusion techniques

Prepare molds, apply release agents, and ensure proper cure cycles

Trim, finish, and prep composite components for paint and final assembly

PAINT & BODY TECHNICIAN

Position Overview​
TruckHouse is seeking Paint & Body Technicians who understand that the finish on an expedition vehicle isn't just about looks – it's about protection, durability, and making sure our customers feel pride every time they see their rig. You'll be the last line of defense before a vehicle ships, which means your attention to detail directly impacts our reputation.
You'll prep, prime, paint, and finish expedition vehicles and composite components to a Class A automotive standard. This means understanding surface prep, priming and paint systems, color matching, and the patience required to achieve a flawless finish.

What You'll Do

Prep surfaces including sanding, filling, priming, and masking

Mix and apply paint using HVLP spray systems

Color match and blend repairs seamlessly

Apply clear coats and protective coatings optimized for off-road durability

Wet sand and polish to achieve showroom-quality finish

Inspect finished surfaces under multiple lighting conditions

ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN

You'll work alongside experienced craftspeople who believe that details matter, that systems make us better, and that every vehicle we build carries our reputation into the backcountry. What You'll Do

Fabricate, assemble, and install components for expedition vehicle camper systems

Electrical installations including 12V/24V/48V systems, solar integration, and custom wiring harnesses

Plumbing system installation according to work instructions and schematics

Read and work from technical drawings, schematics, and build specifications

Perform quality checks throughout the build process – catching issues before they become problems

Collaborate with team leads to identify process improvements and efficiency gains

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area that reflects our commitment to excellence

Document work completed and flag any deviations from spec for engineering review

Crimp, terminate, and secure connectors, verifying routing, terminations, labeling and workmanship against internal quality standards

CNC OPERATOR

Position Overview​
TruckHouse builds premium expedition vehicles using aerospace-grade composite structures, precision machining, and best-in-class craftsmanship. We’re scaling our manufacturing capabilities and looking for a CNC Operator who’s excited to work in a fast-moving, high-mix environment where every part matters.
This role is ideal for someone early in their CNC career who has solid machine-operation fundamentals and is interested in growing into light CAM work, tooling/fixturing, and process optimization.

What You'll Do
-
Operate 3-axis CNC machines to trim, drill, surface, and machine parts and composite foam cores
-
Load, fixture, and verify parts with attention to detail and repeatability
-
Run existing CNC programs and assist in basic edits or toolpath adjustments (as trained)
-
Inspect and clean parts post-machining and move them into inventory
-
Help maintain machine readiness: tool changes, offsets, cleaning, and basic PM tasks
-
Support Manufacturing Engineering with prototype runs, fixturing tweaks, and process development
-
Track work in MES/ERP and follow established work instructions
-
Work closely with composite technicians and engineering to keep production flowing

What We're Looking For

1–3 years of CNC experience (router, mill, or 3-axis preferred)

Ability to safely operate CNC machines and understand basic feeds, speeds, and offsets
